Poster Session Guidelines

The Organizing Committee of Indonesian Digestive Disease Week (IDDW) 2026 invites researchers, clinicians, and professionals to submit abstracts for presentation during the scientific sessions of the conference. This is an excellent opportunity to share your research, exchange knowledge, clinical experience, showcase innovation, and innovative techniques with colleagues in the field of gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy. 

We sincerely thank you for your interest and effort in submitting your abstract to the Indonesian Digestive Disease Week (IDDW) 2026. Your contribution is highly valued and plays an important role in enriching the scientific program of this prestigious event. A. GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Participants of Poster Session can submit more than 1 (one) abstract. The Scientific Committee will only accept the original scientific material which has not been presented/published before, therefore, abstracts which have already been published/presented at regional or national scientific event / congress would not be accepted and will be excluded.
  2. Submitted abstracts may be revised on the website at any time during the abstract submission period. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Please make sure to read the submission guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.
  3. The Scientific Committee will inform the accepted abstract by e-mail.

B. IMPORTANT DATES

  1. Abstract Submission Deadline: 20 July 2026
  2. Abstract Notification of Acceptance: 27 July 2026

C. WITHDRAWAL OF ABSTRACTS

  1. If the main author of an accepted abstract does not complete registration by July 20th, 2026, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program. 
  2. If you wish to withdraw an abstract, please notify the IDDW 2026 secretariat at iddw.isg@gmail.com in writing as soon as possible.

D. GUIDELINE ABSTRACT PREPARATION 

  1. All abstracts submissions must be written in clear, concise English in Microsoft Word. Please include contact details of the corresponding author, institutional addresses, email, and phone number.
  2. The abstract title should be brief and accurately reflect the content of the abstract. The title should be no longer than 15 words. The abstract body should not exceed 300 words, size 12 times new roman, including 3 – 7 keywords.
  3. Abstract must be structured into the following these sections, in chronological order:
    1. Research: Abstract should include background, objectives or aims, methods, results, and conclusions.
    2. Case Report: Abstract should include introduction, case illustration, and discussion.
  4. The author’s and co-author’s names (first name(s), family name(s). Affiliation details of all authors are included: Department, Institution/Hospital, City, State/Province (if relevant), and Country. The name of the main author must be underlined).
  5. Graphic, tables, pictures and references should not be included in the abstract.
  6. You may revise your abstract online through the abstract submission system until the submission deadline.
  7. When submitting the final version of your abstract, please ensure that all required fields in the online system are completed. It is the responsibility of the author to review and correct the abstract before submission. Submitters are solely responsible for any errors in the abstract.
  8. Please note that abstracts submission does not constitute registration for the conference. Participant must complete conference registration.

E. POSTER EXHIBITION PREPARATION

Please note the following information for the preparation of your poster:

  1. Please prepare, print, and bring your own poster.
  2. Posters will be displayed on one sheet of Image in English
  3. The poster should be consisted of figures, tables, texts, and photography. The dimensions of the poster should not exceed 90 cm x 120 cm in size.
  4. The text, illustrations, keywords, etc should be clear enough to be read. Authors’ names, affiliations and countries should be included on the poster. The title should be the same as the one in your abstract.
  5. All participants are required to set up their posters on September 18, 2026, no later than 08:00 AM, at the designated Poster Board number. Scientific Committee Poster team will be available in the poster area to help with poster set up. The poster will be displayed on September 18 – 19, 2026.
  6. The best poster will be awarded on September 19, 2026 by the scientific committee Indonesian Digestive Disease Week (IDDW) 2026.
